My name is Jonathan and music is my life. I started playing guitar when I was seven years of age, and studied under several really awesome teachers. By the time I was a teenager, there was no doubt in my mind about what I wanted from my life...to make music. After graduating from high school, I studied music as a guitar performance major at Anderson University in South Carolina. As a singer guitarist, I have performed in many types of venues. I sing songs by Elton John, George Harrison, Bob Seger, John Mayer, Michael Jackson, John Lennon and Grateful Dead, just to name a few. I play acoustic and electric guitar.  Music has always been my first love and my passion. I come from a family of musicians. I have two brothers and two sisters, plus my mother and father who all sing and play one or more instruments. I guess I was destined to be a musician. Over the years I have taught guitar lessons, played in several different bands and worked as a studio musician. But, I think I'm happiest when it's just me and my guitar, sharing the gift of music from my heart, with those who care to listen.
